Can I take a tour of your facilities?
Sure! Call us at (503) 649-4956 to make an appointment. We conduct tours from 10am - 4pm, seven days a week.
How do I make a reservation?

Will my pet be safe?
Yes, our facilities feature security, sprinklers and smoke detection systems for the safety of your pet. We only use pet-friendly products to clean and sanitize our kennels and also feature HEPA filtration systems in our kennel. In the event of an emergency, our first concern is for the well-being of your pet, so we will do what we needs to be done to secure care for your pet. We may take your pet to his/her own veterinarian for care if appropriate or to a veterinary hospital of our choosing. When checking in to the kennel, your signature on our check-in form allows us to act as caretaker for your pet and make decisions in your absence. As soon as feasible, we will phone you or your emergency contact to notify you as to what has happened. Please keep in mind this may be after your pet has already gone to the vet for care. If you have any concerns or advanced directions regarding the care of your pet and the expense involved, please talk to the front desk upon check-in.
How large is is the area where my dog will be staying?
Each kennel features a 4'x16' area ( 4'x4' inside run and 4'x12' outside run) where your dog can move around, stretch his/her legs, and do his/her business. The inside run is in a climate controlled are keeping your dog comfortable. In addition, our facilities are located on an 16 acre area of land where dogs be taken out to play, you out on long walks, etc.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Guests can be checked in anytime during business hours (we ask that check in be before 5:45pm to allow time for processing).
Checkout time is noon, every day of the week. We offer a late checkout option for $20 after noon and before 5:45pm.
Any time after that, will be an extra day of boarding in addition to the late checkout fee.
If your pet needs an extra day of boarding, please let us know by noon the day before to avoid additional late pick up charges.
Is there a cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours for Boarding &Grooming cancellations.
No shows will be charged the full fee for the reservation.
If you miss two appointments without notice, your future reservations will required the full amount be paid in full to hold your reservation.
What are your boarding & grooming requirements?
Completed paperwork. (submit here)
Veterinarian proof (faxed or submitted online) of vaccination for Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella for dogs and Rabies and FVRCP for cats. Bordetella vaccination should be administered every 6 months. Please note, most vets only administer this vaccine by request. A 24-hour waiting period is required after the first administration for all vaccinations. We strongly recommend a 7 day wait period for the Bordetella vaccination so that the vaccination has time to take effect before your dog's arrives at CMK.
Guests must be at least 4 months of age and in good health.
Guest must be treated with an effective form of flea control
Do you allow all breeds of dogs at CMK for Boarding?
Yes. We welcome all breeds.
Do I bring my own food or do you Provide food?
Yes. We Provided regular dry food. However, we high recommend that owners provide their own food.
By request, we can prepare specialized meals including cooking or thawing if required for a small fee (no plastic containers please, pack meals in individual zipper bags).
Can you give my dog their medication?
Yes. We can administer injectable medication for $5 per does.
Just make sure medication is clearly labeled and dosage instructions are included.
Can I bring personal items for my dog's stay?
We provide our guests with bedding and bowls (beds are available upon request).
You're welcome to bring up to two small items. However, please leave crates and beds at home.
What do I need to know about booking over the holidays?
To ensure that we have space for your pet, we recommended you make your reservations well in advance. Also, similar to a human hotel, CMK utilizes holiday/peak period pricing.
There is a $3 holiday season surcharge per dog per night* during the peak holiday periods outlined below.
There is a $2 holiday season surcharge per cat per night* during the peak holiday periods outlined below.
Peak Holiday Periods:
Thanksgiving (November 27-Dec 1, 2019)
Christmas & New Years (December 21, 2019 - January 2, 2019)
We have a minimum stay requirement of (3) nights for certain holiday periods as referenced below:
November 21-25, December 21-January 1. If for any reason you need to cancel a holiday reservation please see our cancellation policy below.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Please let us know in advance so we can give your spot to someone else!
For non-holidays, please notify us of your cancellation 24-hours in advance.
For holiday reservations, we require 7-day advance notice and a $50 deposit of your scheduled boarding at the time of reservation.
If we do not receive your cancellation within the timeframe listed above, you will be charged a minimum of one day of boarding.
No shows will be charged the full amount of the deposit (50% of the scheduled boarding).
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. SAVE $10 on additional dogs or cats from the same family in the same room.
SAVE $5 on bath price with boarding service.
